How does JUVÉDERM® Work?
The transparent JUVÉDERM® gel is injected into the mid dermis of your face using a syringe. JUVÉDERM® adds volume to the connective tissue here and lifts the skin, smoothing out wrinkles, folds, and areas of volume loss. After nine to twelve months the hyaluronic acid, a biocompatible compound, is naturally absorbed into the body, and your face gradually returns to its pre-treatment condition.
Why JUVÉDERM®?
JUVÉDERM® is biocompatible so the probability of your body having an ill reaction to it is very low. The gel itself contains lidocaine, which makes the treatment far less painful than many other fillers on the market. Additionally, its smooth gel consistency has a more natural-looking appearance than many of its predecessors and competition. It also lasts longer than many other products on the market, requiring treatment only about once a year.
What are the side effects of JUVÉDERM®?
Side effects with JUVÉDERM® are rare but may include redness, tenderness or pain at the injections site. These side effects usually resolve within 3 days. Very rarely discoloration, firmness, swelling, bumps, and bruises have also been reported, but these resolved within seven days.

At Look Young Atlanta our JUVÉDERM® pricing is determined by the box. We charge $510 for a box of JUVÉDERM® Ultra and $575 for a box of JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus. Each box contains 2 syringes, each 0.8 mls.
